PMAIR 和八字六神論

西方文化學有人倡議人格型態,和中國人八字六神論很像. Carol Person,
一位提倡原型論(Archetype)發展一種新論,稱為Ｐearson-Mahr Archetype
Indicator (PMAIR),這學說己流傳十多年。Pearson認為人人都有英雄潛能，
（TheHero Within),而
ＰＭＡＩ把人格稱為六種平凡人生的英雄潛能(Six Herioic Adventures of
OPrdinary Life)，而人生實為完成其潛能的過程：

第一種人是孤兒，其一生載浮載沉，一心要想脫困。

When you are at a time  in your  life  when  you are suffering  a
loss, you are on the adventure of the "Orphan."

第二種人是放蕩子，一生都盼望擺脫現實。

When you are at a time in your  life  when you are breaking  away
from a situation  that does not fit you, you are on the adventure
of the "Wanderer."

第三種人是戰士，以勇氣和堅忍破除困境。

When  you are at a time  in your  life  when  you must  have  the
courage and perseverance  to do what is necessary to accomplish a
goal, you are on the adventure of the "Warrior."

第四種人為他人而活，心繫眾生福祉，為他人著想，即仁心之士。

When you are at a time in your  life when you are trying  to meet
the needs of others, you are on the adventure of the "Altruist."

第五種人有強烈信仰，一心追求完善，即完美主義者。

When you are at a time  in your  life  when you are putting  your
faith in the goodness of God or life, you are on the adventure of
the "Innocent."

第六種人胸懷大心，一心想改變世界，有如魔術師

When you are at a time in your  life  when you are changing  your
world  because  you are following  your true path, you are on the
adventure of the "Magician."

將人格分類，在中國命理學中早以有所發揮。八字命理有六神論。

六神是
１。洩氣者（食神，傷官），
２。統御者（正官，七殺），
３。用心者（正印偏印），
４。類人者（比肩劫財）
５。理財者　（正財偏財）
６。自我

若以六神分，Pearson的六種英雄皆有八字命理六神的特色。比如，孤兒，即
類食神傷官，戰士即正官七殺，仁心之士(利他主義者）即正偏印,魔術家即以
有才之人，以正才(學術）偏才(創造想像）改變世界，而第六種人的信仰無非是
自我中心，以信仰完美自我。
